What is 4evergreen?

4evergreen is a cross industry alliance that has grown steadily since its establishment in 2019. Currently, around 90 members from the entire fibre-based packaging value chain cooperate promoting low-carbon and circular fibre-based packaging solutions.

4evergreen has become the leading alliance in the industry, bringing together packaging producers and converters, brand-owners, non-fibre material suppliers, waste management and EPR schemes, research institutes and start-ups. 4evergreen brings coalition to raise the overall recycling rate of fibre-based packaging to 90% by 2030 in Europe.

What are the benefits of 4evergreen?

4evergreen grants your organisation access to a network of leading industry actors, innovation, widespread visibility, and advocacy opportunities to contribute to a climate-neutral society. 4evergreen membership ensures that your organisation’s voice is heard, boosts your outreach, and allows you to be part of the conversation with other industry members and high-level policymakers.

The members of the 4evergreen alliance spread across the fibre-based packaging value chain, counting on highly experienced experts within the industry.

4evergreen encourages fresh ideas and disruptive and challenging thoughts and welcomes new perspectives from the industry. We aim at adopting a holistic approach. The more companies represented in our work, the stronger our deliverables will be, containing the insights of the entire value chain and the louder our voice is to drive innovation in the industry.

4evergreen welcomes anyone who has a stake in this as long as they are committed to producing low-carbon and circular solutions that will raise the overall recycling rate of fibre-based packaging to 90% by 2030.

Together, we can work to realise these ambitious targets as an industry, and contribute to the objectives of the European Green Deal.
