4evergreen is excited to announce that the Circularity Success Stories 2026 Call for Submissions is now open.
The Circularity Success Stories initiative celebrates projects, products, and collaborative efforts that are accelerating the circularity of paper-based packaging. Each year, the initiative showcases inspiring examples from across the value chain, demonstrating how innovation, collaboration and the practical application of 4evergreen tools are helping turn circularity ambitions into reality.
Beyond celebrating innovation, the Circularity Success Stories initiative offers participants a unique platform to showcase their achievements. Finalists and winners will be promoted through 4evergreen’s communication channels, featured at the Annual Event, and highlighted as leading examples of circularity in action. Winners will receive a Circularity Success Stories award and enjoy increased visibility among key stakeholders from across the European paper-based packaging value chain and beyond.
The 2026 CSS is open to both 4evergreen members and external companies/organisations. We invite you to submit your most impactful initiatives under one of the following six categories until 30 October 2026:
All submissions should specifically highlight how the 4evergreen’s toolbox materials (i.e. Recyclability Evaluation Protocol, Circularity by Design Guideline, and Guidance on the Improved Collection and Sorting) were used in their project/product development and/or implementation as a basic eligibility criterion.
Evaluation criteria
As in previous editions, submissions will be assessed on a range of criteria, including:
- the use of 4evergreen tools and guidance, and its innovative character and impact.
- whether the project or product is already live or available,
- its contribution to sustainability and circularity objectives,
- the level of collaboration involved.
Whether you are developing innovative packaging solutions, improving collection and sorting systems, or building successful partnerships across the value chain, we want to hear your story. Share your achievements, inspire others, and help demonstrate how circularity can be translated into real-world results.
