We are proud to launch 4evergreen’s 2024 Annual Report, celebrating a year of momentum toward our vision of circular fibre-based packaging. 

In 2024, our alliance grew stronger, with over 100 organisations from the fibre-based packaging value-chain, working together to achieve a 90% recycling rate for fibre-based packaging by 2030. 

This year marked the finalisation of the Recyclability Evaluation Protocol, published in early 2025, a significant milestone that harmonises how our industry assesses packaging recyclability. We also released Version 3 of the Circularity by Design Guideline and the Guidance on Improved Collection and Sorting, reflecting deep collaboration and technical excellence. 

Our community’s strength lies in its diversity and shared commitment. With new leadership, expanded membership, and the launch of our Ambassadorship Programme, we’ve deepened engagement across the value chain and amplified our voice in the industry. 

Looking ahead to 2025, we are poised to build on this momentum. From enhancing our technical toolbox to expanding outreach and launching new workstreams, the path forward is full of opportunity.
