The conversation on circular packaging is entering a new crucial phase, and 4evergreen is bringing key voices together to help shape what comes next.
With the Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR) having entered its implementation phase, the focus is shifting from setting ambitions to delivering results and real-world impact. Policymakers, industry stakeholders and standard-setters now face a shared journey: turning circularity objectives into practical, measurable, and scalable solutions across Europe.
Join 4evergreen’s Annual Event on 1 December to explore how collaboration across the paper-based packaging value chain can help bridge the gap between policy and implementation. Bringing together representatives from EU institutions, industry, standardisation bodies, and the wider paper-based packaging ecosystem, the event will discuss the opportunities and challenges surrounding PPWR implementation and the transition to a circular economy.
The programme will combine strategic discussions on policy and implementation with inspiring, practical examples of how industry-led tools, methodologies, and standards can support harmonised approaches across Europe. We will also showcase how cooperation across the value chain is essential to develop solutions that support both policy objectives and operational realities, helping to drive the transition towards fully circular paper-based packaging systems.
Participants will gain insights into how circularity can be put into practice through improved packaging design, more effective collection and sorting systems, and solid approaches to measuring recyclability and performance.
