The #4evergreen alliance has welcomed 52 members to date with many more to follow as companies across the entire #packaging value chain see the benefits of joining this unique cross-sector platform.
When 4evergreen was launched in November 2019, it boasted some of the biggest names in the industry as its founding members, including Stora Enso, Nestlé , Danone, Huhtamaki, SIG Combibloc, SEDA International Packaging Group, Elopak, Tetra Pak, AR Packaging and Mars among others. In total, 29 members were on board, bringing expertise and experience from across the entire value chain and uniting the new members behind a common goal: To increase the role of the #biobased economy within the packaging industry.
Since the end of 2019, 23 more members have signed up to gain deeper insights into #sustainable sourcing, #materialdesign, converting, #recycling, re-use, and #wastemanagement for #fibre-based packaging. Their membership of 4evergreen also provides them with the opportunity to collaborate and share expertise with their peers on fibre-based solutions in order to better advise and meet the needs of their customers. #circulareconomy
